Ahead of the 2021 F1 Esports Pro Series, Haas F1 Team Esports has partnered with former Haas racing driver Romain Grosjean’s esports collective – R8G Esports. The sim racing marque burst onto the scene in April 2020, making an instant impact in the industry racking up 45 wins and 103 podiums in its first year of competition. R8G Esports will manage the team operations throughout the F1 Esports Pro Series in its first season of collaboration with Haas. Having already tasted success this year with Haas Official Reserve and Test driver, Pietro Fittipaldi, and his brother - F3 driver Enzo Fittipaldi - winning the Virtual Grand Prix Series, the American F1 team will look to replicate results during the 2021 F1 Esports Pro Series.
Returning for a second season with the team, racer Cedric Thomé (DEU) will head-up the roster for the Uralkali Haas F1 Team Esports. The German will be joined by PC trials qualifier Samuel Libeert (FRA) and PS4 Challenger qualifier, Matthijs van Erven (NED).
